I.
GENERAL PURPOSE:
The
general purpose of this website is to share news and information of interest and
related to the members of the JVHS Class of ‘69. It is intended to help
members of the class maintain contact and network with each other and with
Jordan Vocational High School, if they choose to do so. In addition to
disseminating information about the JVHS Class of ’69 and our activities, the
website is intended to provide class members with an opportunity to share
questions, ideas, information, and resources.
II.
SITE CONTENTS:
There are two major areas of this website.
Several pages of the website are available to any site visitor. Other pages are
available only to members of the JVHS Class of ’69 who have registered through the website and have received the necessary username
and password by return email. The

Upon submitting a request, classmates will receive a username and temporary password. Please log in to the website as soon as possible and change your password. The temporary password will expire after 72 hours. Please read Website Help for instructions on changing your password and setting up your profile. When logged in, you will be redirected to the Home page. Here you will see both the public and members only pages listed under NAVIGATION.

must have appropriate content and must not be denigrating or derogatory. The
Reunion Committee reserve the right to determine the admissibility of any link,
which, in their sole discretion, is considered questionable for any reason. It

AREA OF THE WEBSITE:
The
restricted portion of the website contains the following pages: Member
Messages, a listing of Classmates,
Class Directory, (not visible at this
time), JVHS RED JACKET 1969 (Only
Senior photos at this time) About Us,
current Reunion Committee and 40th
Class Reunion photos. The Members
Only area is accessed by logging into the website.
Pages
in this area are available only to members of the JVHS Class of ‘69 who have
registered through the website. Please keep in mind that, in addition to
reserving this area of the website for class members, this registration and
login process enables us to keep current contact information for classmates who
participate. Once you have registered with the website, you will receive the
user name and password needed to access this restricted section by email within
24 hours. It will come to you through the following email address:
Squarespace Services [services@squarespace.com] followed by an email from
JVHS1969@gmail.com.
All
pages in this section are kept private, and will not ordinarily surface in web
or Internet searches. These pages are not at this time maintained in an
officially secure area, nor are they encrypted.
A
username and password is required to gain access to these pages. A user who
attempts to access a page in the restricted area using the page-specific URL
address will arrive at a login screen requiring a username and password. If by
chance any of these pages surfaced in an Internet search, attempts to log on
would again require a username and password.
While
we have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the privacy of all pages and
information contained in the restricted area of the website, we make no
assurance that the pages are secure against hacking. While we ask that
registered classmates protect login information, it is possible that a classmate
may advertently or inadvertently share their username and password with
unregistered individuals who may or may not be members of the class.
There are a limited number of user accounts for various purposes; some
are guess who are interested in seeing the full website.
The guess accounts are short term and will be terminated after 72 hours.
OTHER
PERSONAL INFORMATION & PRIVACY ISSUES:
1. Class
Directory: The class directory is intended for social and class related
use only. Please do not use the directory to solicit classmates for business or
political purposes. You may register through the website without being listed in
the online Class Directory. Simply
indicate your preference on the “Contact
Us” form when requesting your username and temporary password. Let
us know when your information changes or if you would like to be deleted from
the listing.
2. The
Message Boards: When logged
in as a registered commenter any posts made will be automatically signed by you,
and will include a link to your member profile.
These profile details are only available to other members registered on
this website when they log in. Message
Board postings are intended only for those people using the message boards.
Please do not share information on the class message boards with other
individuals unless it is requested or authorized by the person making the
posting.
The
class agents and Web Administrator reserve the right to amend this privacy
